St Francis Hospital
Performs limited clinical diagnostic procedures for patients with sleep related disorders. Administration of oxygen or positive airway pressure must be under the direct supervision of a registered polysomnographer. Other duties may include scoring, community education, marketing and inventory management.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Graduate of JRCRTE and AMA approvedSchool of Respiratory Therapy preferred
Minimum WorkExperience
Six (6) months experience as a polysomnographic technician
Certifications
American HeartAssociation
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to workwith minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment andtake appropriate action.
