We are looking for an experienced Data Insight Analyst to support our advertising business. We have big goals and even bigger ideas that require passionate people to get us there. In this high impact role, you will derive deep analytical insights that drive media product innovation for some of our biggest brands. You will rely on your sophisticated SQL skills, A|B testing experience, analytical aptitude and eye for business to prototype reporting solutions and craft meaningful insights for a distributed team driving media sales across 10 global travel brands

We work in many of today's technologies including Dremio, Snowflake and Salesforce while demonstrating our skills in SQL, Excel and Python. You will utilize your superb communication skills to partner closely with our internal teams to support the inception, implementation and performance measurement of our advertising products while helping to drive the evolution and sophistication of our business

You will be part of a tight-nit and outgoing analytics team with opportunities to contribute on a number of exciting initiatives and projects. There will be opportunities to collaborate with product, sales, tech and strategy functions in this position. While supporting media product development you can execute on your ideas and influence the approach and direction of your work. This role is a full-time position working with the Sr. Manager of Media Performance Analytics, Media Solutions. This position may require periodic travel

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide authoritative knowledge of data pertaining to media and company products

* Support A|B testing, machine learning, production reporting, executive reporting, and ad-hoc analysis

* Collaborate on product development efforts by recommending test approaches and devising novel solutions to unique challenges

* Partner with product, data engineering and reporting teams to implement scalable solutions

* Become an authority in the Media Product Life Cycle

Qualifications:

Required:

* Bachelors degree in a quantitative or business field such as Mathematics, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related field

* 1-2+ years of professional experience in data analysis and reporting

* Demonstrable ability to work through sophisticated problems, manipulate and analyze large data sets, and produce meaningful business insights

* Proficient understanding of A|B testing

* Familiar with Python, Scala or R, or any other major machine learning programming language

* Strong proficiency in extracting and manipulating data using SQL, with a solid focus on data integrity and accuracy

* Superb communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to work with non-analytics partners to translate ambiguous business requirements into robust analysis

* Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and execute work with moderate direction or supervision

Preferred:

* Experience with A|B testing for online product development

* Experience developing and driving impactful and sustained change and performance improvement from data-driven insights

* Experience building and maintaining a data science project/product in production environments

* Experience with business intelligence reporting, dashboard, and analytics applications such as Tableau, Looker and Power BI

* Experience in digital advertising, e-commerce, B2B marketing, and online travel
