To stay attuned to the evolving needs of the Data Platform Groups (DPG) cloud customers, the ability to characterize unique issues and provide CPU firmware solutions addressing a particular feature or enhancement request outside the regular product life cycle is paramount. As a Cloud x-Code Sysdebug Engineer, you will engage with our largest customers to understand their specific issues related to Intel CPU firmware and help provide support related to the same. You will create, develop and debug firmware architecture and solutions in a roadmap continuous way, engaging with partner teams across application, engineering, platform validation and silicon engineering. You will bring your broad understanding of multiple system areas.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

* 4+ plus years of technical experience including direct experience with CPU/SoC architecture and/or post-Si validation with exposure to CPU firmware.

* Experience working with CPU runtime firmware components and in-field runtime firmware updates.

* BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Intel platform and/or SoC architecture.
