This position will be responsible for successful project engineering execution and oversight within the propulsion controls engineering department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Functions as project manager, estimating budget, schedule and staffing forecast related to hardware and component design, systems requirements flow down, verification and validation, and qualification for the T55-714C and HTS7500 gas turbine engines.
* Manage task execution, schedule and cost forecasts and earned value in the SAP environment
* Communicate status, escalations and project outcomes to program managers and business leaders
YOU MUST HAVE
* Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering
* Minimum 3 years experience with related project engineering responsibility for gas turbine engine technologies.
WE VALUE
* Project engineering experience with propulsion products (or other relevant complex mechanical system)
* Has familiarity with turbine engine hot sections and turbomachinery
* A demonstrated track record in managing complex projects of 10+ persons
* Effective communication skills and ability to manage a cross-functional team in a matrixed environment
* Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
* Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
