General Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The Manager of Compensation role provides assists in the development and implementation of various broad-based compensation programs. This role also provides consulting services to the
business as well as drives business performance goals regarding compensation inquiries. Under the direction of the Senior Director Compensation, the Manager of Compensation engages significantly with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and administer innovative and cost-effective reward solutions. Additionally, as a member of the Compensation COE, this role will provide compensation analytics to a wide variety of departments and internal customers to assist in processes.

JOB CONTRIBUTIONS- WHAT WILL YOU DO

* Provide internal compensation consulting services to a wide array of business units by working closely with HR Business Partners.
* Evaluate new job requests using internal data, market data, and FLSA guidelines and provide recommendations to HR Business Partners.
* Review promotional requests from HR Business Partners and provide recommendations for requests to be approved by the Senior Director Compensation.
* Develop, implement, and maintain various compensation programs such as base pay and merit programs.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal compensation laws by conducting quarterly, midyear, and annual reviews.
* Review and maintain market survey data in order to remain competitive with market rates.
* Effectively communicate compensation program changes to HR Business Partners to ensure smooth implementation.
* Monitor current compensation practices and policies and provide recommendations for improvements.

Essential Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum 6 years compensation experience preferred. Previous experience in other areas of HR desirable.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or a related field strongly preferred.
* CCP desirable.
* Strong project management skills required.
* Demonstrated customer service orientation.
* Proven communication, influencing and listening skills.
* Prior experience working with outside consultants / vendors is preferred.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
