The Echo Tech will demonstrate concern and empathy while performing procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.
* Prepare and position patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
* Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
* Maintain proactive, effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any and all findings patient histories and test results as appropriate.
* Collaborate and confer with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications
* Completion of an accredited, approved program in Sonography (Associate-level degree)
* Registry/registry eligible from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
* Prefer Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as an Echo Tech
* Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required upon hire.
