What youll do

* Transfect and select CHO for the development of stable cell lines expressing monoclonal antibodies for the biopharmaceutical industry
* Perform single cell cloning and evaluate clones using deep-well-plate and shake flask platforms in batch and fed-batch modes
* Analyze clone performance using standard antibody/protein assays such as ELISA, ForteBio, protein gels, Western blots, etc.
* Construct vectors using standard cloning, ligation, transformation techniques, and provide midi-maxi scale DNA preparations
* Provide external and internal data presentations as well as written technical reports to document Cell Line Development activities

Who you are

* Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or Chemical Engineering
* 7+ years relevant work experience
* Good understanding of biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology and molecular genetics
* Demonstrated experience developing mammalian cell lines expressing recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies is essential
* Experience in technical customer service with excellent written and oral communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed, and customer focused environment
* Legally authorized to work in the United States full-time
