We are looking for a Molecular Interactions Field Application Scientist (FAS) to work with our expert sales team across the world. Do you have a passion for technical sales? If so, we would love to hear from you!

What youll do

* Responsible for providing pre and post-sale support, product demonstrations, seminars, training and/or customer service activities supporting territory sales objectives.
* Accountable for regional revenue targets and overall business performance objectives.
* Support customers, Account Managers, and Sales Specialists within the Pacific Northwest zone and the global team, as needed.
* Provide advanced application driven technical presentations at customer sites and high-level scientific meetings.
* Responsible for regional customer training, developing application driven training courses and demonstrations.
* Continuously build and strengthen strong business relationships with KOL within the assigned regional SPR market.
* Collaborate with and leverage subject matter experts and other resources within the Cytiva channels to build relationships and secure business.
* Provide support (within a team matrix environment) to the regional Sales Specialist on developing quarterly territory business plans including, but not limited to, opportunity generation and development, competitive account strategies, and meeting quarterly revenue and performance objectives.
* Continuously educate and coach internal matrix team members on Cytivas SPR products and offerings, in addition to the competitive landscape.
* Provide monthly communication to the internal business on market trends to/from the field including competitor data, to understand and leverage a sustainable competitive advantage.
* Familiar with a variety of virtual technologies for customer trainings and presentations.

Who you are

* BS degree in Life Sciences or Engineering field; MS degree preferred, PhD highly desirable.
* Minimum of 3 years of post-Bachelors practical laboratory experience in molecular interactions, biophysical and bioanalytical techniques, in addition to, a strong knowledge of the Biotech/BioPharm process development (PD) workflow.
* Strong working knowledge of label free assays and technology, SPR and or ITC and BLI.
* Proven technical understanding and knowledge of antibody characterization, small molecule, fragment screening, and QC assay development.
* Strong understanding of current PD strategies, challenges and dynamics impacting Drug Discovery and Development markets.
* Practical experience in organizing and executing technical seminars and product demonstrations.
* Matrix-team oriented mindset with a Best in Class customer satisfaction goal, self-motivator with ability to multi-task effectively and manage numerous priorities at one time.
* Strong written, oral and presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired, publication track record demonstrated).
* Strong SPR professional digital presence (LinkedIn).
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, digital/remote presence tools, business applications, and SalesForce.com.
* Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skill.
* Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to diverse external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional areas.
* Written and verbal English fluency.
* Must live and be able to travel extensively within assigned territory.
