Job Description

The DBS Operations Analyst provides support to the operations function by preparing statistical analysis and reports for continuous Improvement opportunities, handling information requests, automation of tasks, and developing operational dashboards using our ERP system, D365. This position will independently handle projects from conception to completion, proficiently work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities, optimally communicate across a broad corporate platform both domestically and internationally, and consistently maintain confidentiality and discretion in all areas of performance. This position is part of the Danaher Business System (DBS) Team within Manufacturing/Operations.

Essential functions & responsibilities

* Extract and analyze data from internal systems for optimizing operational functional processes

* Develop dashboards and other visual management systems to convey information in real-time

* Assist in data pulls that support operations teams for data supporting kaizen efforts

* Assist in the preparation and analysis of presentation material for operational initiatives

* Build, Automate, and design innovative tools that make the operational team more effective and efficient.

* Partner with the Sales operation analyst to support in developing opportunities for operational functions to improve Customer Experience and Customer Journeys analysis

* Manage and implement projects/kaizen

* Stay on the cutting edge of technology and always take the initiative to learn new tools and increase analytical and statistical capabilities. (Learning of additional technical tools to support functions in using Big Data to improve operational efficiencies)

* Train end-users in person and virtually on new tools and technologies

* Other duties as assigned

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education & experience

* Bachelors degree

* Minimum 2+ years experience with Power BI or Tableau or another BI tool. Experience in creating dashboards and data visualizations using Microsoft PowerBI preferred

* Education and certifications or experience around Visual Design and Business Intelligence

* 2+ years experience with practicing ETL (extract, transform, and load) and data management.

* Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft tools

* Experience automating tasks with Microsoft products including Excel, Power Platform, and other products.

* 2+ years experience working with relational databases and SQL

* Some 0perational knowledge in a supply chain business, global operations preferred

* Knowledge of statistics, business analytics, and visualization design is desired

* Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
