Responsibilities:

As our General Ledger Analyst, You will facilitate accurate and timely closing of general ledgers each month, including:

* Perform all close steps associated with Service and Resale companies for Mexico
* Coordinate cash application process for all Mexico companies
* Manage Inventory for Resale companies
* Manage Service entity for shared services transactions
* Recording accruals and other adjustments using journal entries
* Reviewing assigned accounts to ensure accuracy
* Preparing / reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations
* Reviewing legal entity/plant expenses using financial reports to identify potential errors
* Communicating issues to internal customers (plant/business line controllers, corporate accounting) or other functions, as needed
* Identifying, solving and/or escalating accounting issues to Team Lead/Manager
* Continuously improving closing processes and quality
* Ensuring compliance with policies/procedures and internal controls
* Assisting with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting paired with 3+ years of experience in a General Ledger role
* Bilingual English/Spanish
* Strong knowledge of basic accounting concepts, including cost accounting
* Microsoft Excel - Intermediate skill level
* SAP - System Applications Products or other large ERP is a plus
* Exhibits a positive, can-do attitude and approaches responsibilities with an open mind
* Demonstrates a healthy skepticism and effective problem solving and analytical skills
* Follows through on commitments and demonstrates ownership of results
* Advanced degree or CPA a plus
