Job Description

Compliance Quality Assurance (CQA) is a centralized compliance monitoring group that performs standardized testing of regulations which impact U.S. Bancorp. Currently, over 90+ regulations are tested on a scheduled basis. Additionally, CQA performs numerous specialized tests throughout the year.

This position will be responsible for managing existing testing programs and development of new testing programs. New testing typically consists of regulatory changes or new regulations. This position also ensures proper application of, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards, guidelines and procedures.

The work performed by this position must be of a quality such that it can be relied on by the companys internal auditors as well as outside regulatory agencies such as the CFPB, Federal Reserve, OCC, SEC or FINRA allowing them to reduce their scope, where appropriate.

Essential Functions

Ensure compliance monitoring procedures are followed during management of compliance monitoring programs. Analyze existing compliance monitoring programs to determine gaps, areas of enhancement, and alignment with risk assessments. Assist management in developing tests through cooperation with Compliance Risk Management Specialists and CQA Analysts. Assist management with executing the annual review of the compliance monitoring program by obtaining feedback from Compliance Risk Management Specialists. Ensure modifications to existing compliance monitoring programs are implemented accurately. Assist in maintaining CQA procedures. Contribute to additional projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five or more years of experience in fields such as compliance monitoring, quality analysis or measurement activities.

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Thorough knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business

- Audit experience preferred

- CRCM Designation preferred

- Thorough understanding of the business lines operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills

- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the products and services offered within bank and wealth management services
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations

Pay Range: $66,725.00 - $78,500.00 - $86,350.00
