Position Summary:

This position is responsible for general cleaning and basic maintenance duties both inside and outside of the facility. Performs work under the direction of department lead, supervisor or manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Clean and sanitize restrooms in assigned area
* Vacuum carpet and remove spots from carpet; clean and dust chairs, on, partition walls and other miscellaneous furniture in assigned area
* Collect and remove trash and refuse from assigned areas
* Clean windows and brass as needed
* Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties
* Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

Basic:

* Previous experience in general cleaning or custodial work
* Sensitivity to details
* Passing a background and/or drug screen may be required

Preferred:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required

Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job, employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. Must be able to hear verbal instructions.
