Internal Communications Senior Manager, Tableau
The Internal Communications Senior Manager will partner with Employee Success (HR) teams at Tableau and Salesforce to develop and drive dynamic and strategic internal communications campaigns that communicate the value of our Employee Success offerings and drive increased employee awareness and engagement with Tableau employees.
We are looking for an equal parts thinker and doer who is energized by working with diverse teams to create memorable employee campaigns and experiences. This person must be a brilliant writer with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset, and be able to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment.
Responsibilities:
* Own strategy and delivery of all Employee Success communications for Tableau, in partnership with teams including Tableau Leadership, Employee Engagement, Benefits, Talent Development, etc.
* Partner with communications leads and our partners to understand key programs and/or change management initiatives, and create and execute compelling communications that effectively deliver the message.
* Provide input on messaging, positioning, and process, ensuring communications are compelling and aligned with our desired voice and tone.
* Write and develop memorable, engaging cross-channel communications (e.g. email, digital screens, blog posts, web pages and banners, our internal social network, video, etc.) that drive awareness of key initiatives and inspire employees to take action.
* Track results and apply key learnings to improve future comms, content, and engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
* 8+ years in marketing, communications, change management, or related discipline
* Proven track record developing and executing compelling, creative internal comms plans
* Brilliant short and long form writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to generate and execute breakout ideas
* Deliver complex data and insights in an easy-to-digest visual format that meets our brand standards and style guidelines
* Experience working independently with senior executives and advise on communications strategies and messaging.
* Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and subsequently develop clear communications with minimal guidance
* Provide strategic input on messaging and positioning to ensure the narrative and ongoing marketing engages and aligns with our company values
* Confidence and ability to effectively lead, manage, and execute multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, often ambiguous and ever-changing environment
* Track engagement metrics to identify key learnings that will help improve future programs and communications
* Ability to work cross-functionally and exert influence without necessarily authority
* Energized by fast-paced, highly collaborative, solutions-oriented teams
* Demonstrate consistently high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Genuine interest in having, bringing, and promoting fun!

Senior Manager, Executive Communications
The Senior Manager, Executive Communications will partner closely with Employee Success (HR) leaders to deliver impactful, integrated communications that educate Salesforce executives and employees about key talent initiatives and inspire action. Success in this role is grounded in the ability to listen, question, and consult, ultimately translating complex and often sensitive information into crisp, clear communications coupled with innovative presentation design.
You will help establish the narrative and translate that into amazing, on-brand communications and presentations.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Partner with Employee Success executives to understand upcoming initiatives and/or change management initiatives, and create compelling communications and business presentations that effectively deliver the message.
* Provide strategic input on messaging and positioning to ensure the narrative is engaging and aligned with our desired tone and values.
* Create presentations in Google Slides that meet our creative goals, brand standards, and style guidelines.
* Deliver complex data and insights in an easy-to-digest visual format that meets our brand and style guidelines.
* Write memorable, engaging communications across other internal channels as needed to drive awareness of key initiatives (e.g. email, digital screens, Chatter (our internal social network), etc).
* Track program results and identifies key learnings to help improve future programs and communications.
* Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to deliver a unified narrative.
* Manage a small team
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications or a related discipline; experience in a high tech or other fast-paced, disruptive environment a plus
* 3+ years working in executive communications and/or change management
* A strong writer who can help translate information into compelling narratives
* Strategic thinker with proven ability to work cross-functionally, exerting influence without direct authority
* Proven track record developing and executing creative internal communications plans and strategies
* Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear communications
* Must thrive in a high velocity and constantly evolving work environment and have excellent time management skills
* Dynamic, charismatic, confident personality with the ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance
* PowerPoint and Google Slides expertise a must. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, motion graphics, and/or video experience a plus.
* A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proactive and results-oriented
* Like working collaboratively and know how to have fun
