The Contracts Manager position will be responsible for supporting the Trusted Mission Processing (TMP) Programs, both existing and growth pursuits under Communication and Airspace Management Systems (CAMS), Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS). The position supports our programs in Dallas and McKinney, Texas.

Responsibilities will include front-end assessments of business pursuits, analysis of RFPs and RFQs, quote and proposal review, contract negotiation and general contract administration responsibilities. This includes quote preparation, offering solutions to mitigate program risks, maintaining contract files, understanding how terms and conditions affect prices and schedules, acting as the point of contact for all contractual matters, representing the contracts organization in all matters of cash collection, unbillable and overaged invoices, revenue recognition considerations, ITAR/EAR compliance, and Intellectual Property protection. Possess the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working relatively independently. Excellent and intimate knowledge of Raytheon processes and procedures, risk tolerances and Terms and Conditions Guidelines is preferred.

Required Skills:

Eight (8) years of related experience in contracts management to include any of the following: business law, proposal management, negotiations, financial analysis or related skills
Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
In depth knowledge and understanding of the FAR, DFARs, ITAR and other US Government regulations relating to Government contracting in general
Ability to guide multiple program priorities and deadlines; outstanding organization and time administration skills
Demonstrated influential communication skills, both verbal and written, to include presenting to leadership, interacting with customers and writing contracts and customer correspondence
Demonstrated ability to think strategically to negotiate complicated financial, payment and other contractual terms; knowledge to discuss and negotiate in real time; ability to consider liabilities to the company and mitigate them
Negotiation experience with US Government (USG) and/or Prime Contractors to the USG
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment
