Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will design and develop moderately complex solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications under limited supervision.

The Cloud Infrastructure - Technology Engineering - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

* Develop moderately complex solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.
* Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.
* Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
* Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.
* Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.
* Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application in production

Minimum Required Experiences

* 2 years

* Bachelors degree or equivalent
* 4-6 years experience software development experience in programming languages like Python and advance scripting languages is preferred.
* Strong experience in Shell scripting and working on Linux Platforms
* Experience in Workload Scheduling and Orchestration ( Autosys) , Batch Processing and migrating Workloads to AWS.
* Strong working knowledge of AWS Services Technologies such as Step functions, Batch processing , Kinesis, EC2, ALB/ELB, Elastic BeanStalk, ACM, RDS, S3, LAMBDA, API Gateway, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, ElastiCache, Docker and Application Runtimes
* Application and System Design and Build experience using RESTful APIs, WebServices, streaming and JMS/EMS integration patterns
* Experience in building with Automation tools such as (Jenkins, Nexus, Maven and JUnit) as well as CI/CD -- GitHub, Maven, Jenkins
* Agile Methodology (Scrum / Kanban)

Skills

* Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
* Development experience with Java, AWS Java SDK, CLI, CF, NodeJS, GO, JSP, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, OAuth2, SAML
* Unix/Linux OS Platform, Application Servers like JBoss, Tomcat, Apache WebServer or NGINX
* Terraform, Urban Code Deploy, Puppet, Ansible
* Prior Experience with Autosys Scheduling Platform
* Design and develop moderately complex software solutions to meet needs.
* Primarily Work on Workload Scheduling Platform Development and Maintenance including Design, Implementation, Development and Support
* Create or Update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.
* Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.
* Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application in production.

* Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
* Ability to transform business processes using BPA, RPA, or other technology-enabled automation

* Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process
* Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information.
* The group of skills related to Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
* Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
* Experience monitoring and managing operation systems (OS), and staying current on patches, upgrades, and other elements of the OS and platform product
