Job Description

The FP&A team manages Facebooks entire budget of revenue and expense. We focus on using our unique view into the numbers to see trends and opportunities that are developing within Facebook and within related industries. In this role, you will join a team that manages the finances for Facebooks network infrastructure, which plays a critical role in building the network Facebook uses to support more than 2.7 billion monthly active users. You will lead analytical efforts to explain how Facebooks network infrastructure investments fit into the bigger strategic picture. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action, have exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. You should be a self-starter and well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high-energy growth environment.

Finance Manager, Network Spend Analytics Responsibilities

* Analyze forecast drivers and financial model assumptions in order to surface insights into correlation between different silos of network infrastructure investment

* Drive the creation of a Finance Point of View on long-term network infrastructure investment strategy

* Collaborate with business partners to develop a long-range plan for network infrastructure as well as CapEx/OpEx targets

* Drive ad hoc financial analyses to support and to enable sound investment decisions

* Prepare and deliver presentations to cross-functional business partners as well as leaders in the Infra and Finance organization

* Mentor colleagues within the Network Finance team

Minimum Qualifications

* 7+ years experience in Financial modeling and data analysis from a consulting, investment banking, private equity or Fortune 500 company

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Sciences, or Engineering

* Highly skilled at using Excel to build and maintain financial models

* Experience building and managing relationships with business partners and other cross functional stakeholders

* Experience balancing attention to detail with keeping an eye on the big picture

* Experience navigating through ambiguity and unstructured problems

* Knowledge of finance, accounting, and infrastructure technology concepts

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in investment banking, equity research, or management consulting covering companies in the network equipment or network infrastructure industries

* Familiarity with basic SQL concepts

* MBA degree
