The THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Deployment, Fielding, and Sustainment (DFS) Integrated Product Team Lead reports directly to the Strategic Sensor Systems (S3) DFS IPT Lead in the Whole Life Engineering (WLE) Directorate under the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Business Area.
As the Integrated Product Team Lead for this Program, youre responsible for overall leadership of the Integrated Product Team, including:
* Capture opportunities thru the proposal process
* Coordinating program start-up activities
* Executing the delivery of the products and services.
Throughout these activities, youll work directly with the Raytheon KSA THAAD program management team and will be responsible for maintaining the primary interface between KSA and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) counterparts to ensure key hand-offs are identified, any issues/challenges are surfaced and resolved in a timely manner, corresponding risks and opportunities are identified and managed and products/services are delivered on time and on-schedule.
General Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and direction to the IPT, with members in Woburn, MA and Huntsville, AL, including decision making, problem resolution, staffing decisions and team growth and development
* Ensure performance to technical, cost, schedule, quality, and EXIM requirements for the DFS requirements associated with two UAE deployed systems and seven KSA systems to be deployed.
* Support follow-on program pursuits and ensure accurate and complete cost and technical proposal development
* Ensure accurate and complete control account management, Earned Value analysis, and Estimates at Completion
* Establish and maintain IPT elements/interfaces of the Integrated Master Schedule
* Manage product and services configurations
* Support the Chief Engineer and Technical Lead in developing product roadmaps and strategies enabling the program to pursue and capture growth opportunities
* Ensure maximum commonality and re-use across the product and proactively address obsolescence, producibility, testability and supportability
* Cultivate an inclusive culture where people feel comfortable to raise issues early and present alternative viewpoints
* Provide leadership and management to the various functional Cross Product Teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of products and services from within the IPT.
* Execute to achieve technical, cost and schedule requirements during PMX Gates 4 thru 11 to include management of associated risks and opportunities.
* Generate and present DFS IPT contribution to Program Working Groups and Program Management Reviews.
Domestic and international travel is required (approximately 15% - primarily domestic)
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Required Skills:
* 10+ years of Program, Project, Technical / Engineering or equivalent leadership/management experience in a military or civilian environment.
* At a Grade G11, 8+ years of experience in the aforementioned areas along with a relevant Master's Degree may be considered for this job.
* Experience developing Performance Measurement Baselines, implementing EVMS, developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules, Risk & Opportunity Management or related program or project management tools
* US Citizenship is required

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree. 8+ years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
