Our team is responsible for taking on breakthrough concepts and delivering products to customers at scale. The internship will provide exposure to hardware design, integration, and validation of next generation FRL products. In this role, you will lead a project end-to-end, from concept to implementation supporting a subsystem.
Hardware System Integration Engineer Intern Responsibilities
* Lead a project from concept to completion including schematic design, layout, fabrication, bringup, and debug
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as product design, thermal, system architecture, and platform software
* Work with component/IC vendors to select electrical components during the design process
* Track project progress, bugs, and fixes and produce regular status reports
Minimum Qualifications
* Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or related fields
* Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
* Knowledge in computer system architecture, digital circuits, and analog IC fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications
* Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
* Proficient with design tools such as schematic capture and PCB layout
* Experienced in bench level measurements characterizing or debugging electrical systems
* Familiar with firmware Development: writing/debugging low level firmware, drivers, and test scripts
