For over 30 years, Gilead has been a leading innovator in virology and we developed todays leading medicines for treating and preventing HIV and treating viral hepatitis. More recently Gilead has expanded its oncology portfolio and seeks to become a leader in this critical disease area. In this Director, Global Brand Strategy and Promotions Breast Cancer, you will play a key role in driving the global marketing strategy and will lead opinion leader promotions for Sacituzumab Govitecans global launch in TNBC, while also supporting additional indications. Sacituzumab Govitecan is a clinical-stage antibody drug conjugate being developed across a range of solid tumors. From product launch to new indications and lifecycle management, youll be providing insights and partnering with local markets, Global Medical Affairs, Global Value and Access, Global Commercial Operations, Clinical Development, Governmental Affairs, Public Affairs to help drive the development and implementation of integrated global commercialization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director, Global Commercial Product Strategy Oncology - Sacituzumab Govitecan, this role will:

* Execute the Sacituzumab Govitecan commercial strategic vision for the global launch in TNBC, balancing near-term and long-term priorities, while also supporting additional indications.
* Execute global launch campaigns, including differentiating strategy, unique branding, compelling positioning and key messaging that establish our global market position in new disease areas
* Support the development and implementation of the global plan of action, including leadership of key market development initiatives and execution of launch tactics
* Lead creation and implementation of the global Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and societies engagement plan in collaboration with cross-functional partners and key Gilead markets
* Identify and cultivate strong partnerships with global KOLs, professional societies and patient advocacy organizations and drive integration of their voice into strategic planning
* Lead development and implementation of the Sacituzumab Govitecan global congress plan in collaboration with franchise partners
* Develop and implement the Sacituzumab Govitecan global advisory board plan
* Manage partnerships with agencies to ensure flawless execution and budget management
* Conduct strategic marketing activities including market and competitive research and product positioning in close collaboration with cross-commercial disciplines
* Identify actionable insights based on market research and ensure that the product / brand addresses unmet need areas
* Your ultimate benchmark will be the successful execution of a global commercial strategy that maximizes the overall value of the asset and patient access across the product lifecycle

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Were seeking a strategic, influential leader, and experienced oncology marketer with:

* At least 12+ years with BS/BA or 10+ Years with MS/MA/MBA/PhD/PharmD of relevant experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
* Substantial oncology-specific experience and market knowledge preferred, in particular in solid tumor malignancies; breast cancer experience is a plus
* Strong scientific and medical acumen
* Ex-US local country experience, particularly in Europe and Canada, is preferred
* Strong experience in global commercial planning, including developing differentiated brand positioning and messaging, and leading global marketing tactics
* Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plans, including KOL and society engagement planning, campaign development, tactical planning and budgeting
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and work successfully with varied audiences and executives
* Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and interpret complex issues and provide appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas
* B.A. or B.S. required, MBA and/or advanced degree in life sciences or medical degree preferred
