Summary:

Senior Application Engineer applies products to applications, provides guidance across the full product life cycle, and links site, customer, and sales teams. Works with Channel Partners (OEMs, Distributors, System Integrators) and PSG Sales Managers across the globe. Promotes new products and identifies new product opportunities. Develops tools & training content to Sales, Technicians, Engineers, and others. Coordinates and conducts training to various levels of staff, customers, distributors, and end users. <10% travel.

Duties

* Provides technical support to distributors and/or end-users who require assistance with system design, process controls, and/or fluid transfer.
* Prepares and conducts application related training.
* Delivers rapid, accurate and efficient answers to incoming inquiries.
* Learns and understands regulations & design practices relevant for critical applications.
* Reviews special requests and scopes out solutions that enhance the sale or operation of existing PSG-GR products.
* Utilizes product modification and customization to accommodate unique market needs.
* Serves as project manager for complete and accurate solutions to the market.
* Participates in meetings, seminars, trainings, and trade shows to stay informed of broader market trends.
* Interfaces with other functional areas, customers, and sales teams in the development of new products, services, or solutions.
* Other duties as required in the support of PSG-GR business activities.

Education/Experience:
Degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university, plus three to five years experience. Candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with incomplete information. Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of contexts. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with multiple abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or other), and web-based tools.

Certificates and Licenses:
Professional licensure is a plus.
