Overview of Finance Development Program
Cornings summer internship experience is rich with hands-on learning. Youll live, work, and experience the communities in which Corning operates, while building on-the-job skills. Interns are expected to deliver results against our business and financial objectives, applying knowledge and practices both independently and as a team. Working with a supervisor or mentor, you will gain work experience while interacting with key technologies, subject matter experts and leaders. The purpose of the Finance Intern Program is to raise the bar on talent by strengthening our pipeline for entry level roles for immediate and future needs.

Position Qualifications/ General Requirements:
* Global mobility desirable
Required Years and Area of Experience:
* Bachelors degree in: Business, Economics, and/or Finance or equivalent
* Masters degree in related area preferred
* Certifications desirable (e.g. CPA, CMA, CFA, etc.)
* Six Sigma Green belt/Black belt certification a plus
Technical Skills:
* Data analytics software experience (ACL, IDEA, etc.) desired
* PeopleSoft and/or SAP experience desired
* Cost accounting/manufacturing experience desired
* Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint required
* Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge required
Qualifications:
