In this role.. youll be responsible for aligning with the companys key strategies, maximize value to the customers, and increasing the companys revenue by leading one of the US Sales Areas for Markem-Imaje. Strong coaching and leadership skills are a must to ensure best practices and sales process principles are followed to drive sales of coding and marking equipment, services, software and consumables.

In this critical role you will need to:

* Develop a business plan with each Account Manager to effectively penetrate and cover assigned accounts within sales areas
* Ensure team adherence to the Markem-Imaje Sales Process including all procedures and policies
* Define the goals, targets and expectations for the Account Managers in your sales area
* Be the champion for your sales team for SAP CRM and Salesforce.. Coach and lead your Account Managers so they effectively use the programs as per the Company directives
* Review and assist the Account Managers in preparing quotes that best reflect the image of the company and offer the best price compromise for the company and customers
* Create and present product sales training to the Account Managers
* Visit customer sites and assist the Account Managers with the preparation, promotion and /or installation of M-I product identification equipment in a variety of applications
* Interact and collaborate with other members of the Sales organization such as Pre-Sales, Technical Services, Applications Engineering, CIS/Systech, Customer Service
* Provide feedback to Product & Marketing teams for product enhancements.

Requirements:

* B.A. or B.S. degree prefer Business Administration, Marketing, Management & Leadership, Professional Sales, or Engineering. An MBA is desirable
* 5+ years of successful track record of managing corporate sales account managers selling to industrial/manufacturing customers
* 10+ years in Packaging Industry, Product Identification or related industry
* Proven team building and employee empowerment skills
* Excellent project management skills; able to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
* Effective verbal communication skills (in-person, conference calls, presentations) and business writing proficiency (transactional emails; informational - call reports, meeting minutes; persuasive - customer proposals).
* Strong understanding of CRM (such as SalesForce.com) and MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
* Experience in forecasting sales area revenue on a weekly basis
* Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment and effectively handle competing priorities and timelines
* Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites and other company locations.
