Full Stack Java Developer

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable developer to join a fast-paced development effort to re-architect and modernize a high-visibility system. As a core member of our development team, you will:

* Design, develop and modify software systems and custom components using modern dev stack
* Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers
* Analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas
* Integrate existing software into new or modified systems
* Develop and execute test procedures for software components
* Analyze user requirements to derive technical software design and performance requirements
* Plan, track, manage deliverables on short term sprints, and long-term software deployments

The Team

Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

Qualifications - Required

* Bachelor's Degree
* 3+ years of experience in developing Java based applications using Spring or equivalent frameworks
* Experience in developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using ReactJS or Angular; ideal candidate will have both ReactJS and Angular experience
* Experience in both designing and developing platform components using Java Web Services, JWS/JAX, and Component Based Architectures
* Hands on experience with HTML5, CSS3, Ajax and Dom
* Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance
* Must live in or be able to relocate to Gilbert, AZ, Lake Mary, FL, or Mechanicsburg, PA
* Travel up to 20% (while 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Qualifications - Preferred

* Experience with Agile methodologies and/or DevOps practices and tools
* Understanding of various infrastructures (on-premise, cloud)
