Laredo Medical Center is looking for a Maintenance Tech III. This position is responsible for advance installation, inspection, operation and repairs to building systems and plant equipment. Utilizes Technical Materials to maintain equipment to high standards. Documents all PM and Repairs accurately. Uses and maintains hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments. Performs advanced specialties in Plant, Electrical, Mechanical and / or Building Crafts.The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor; however, he/she may receive work direction from the Director of Facilities.

Job Requirement Include:

Education:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Must read, write and speak English proficiently, ability to type and perform computer data entry.

Preferred: Vocational training as an electrician, plumber, HVAC technician or Plant Operator. Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Experience:

Three to five years experience in comparable work on Building and Equipment is minimum to perform this job.

Licences/Certificates:

Required: Valid Driver License
