JOB PURPOSE
This role will be responsible for overseeing EHS and Sustainability related programs and policies for non IFM (Integrated Facility Management) activities dedicated to the client
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities tied to this role are as follows:
Review of national, regional and local EHS client requirements to identify those that are applicable to the relevant sites, its activities and occupants.
Review of national, regional and local EHS regulatory requirements to identify those that are applicable to the relevant sites, its activities and occupants.
Ensure timely compliance of all client and local regulatory requirements.
Ensure client Compliance with Energy Efficiency and Sustainability requirements in each country where client operates.
Provide leadership on regulatory agency interactions related to the sites as needed on behalf of client.
Development of client Emergency Response Plans in conjunction with stakeholders.
Develop Regulatory and Non-Regulatory client EHS Training: work with sites to build training matrices, manage execution, and oversee assignments.
Manage all client environmental aspects: discharges, emissions, wastes, and chemical usage to meet national, regional and local environmental regulations.
Establish client EHS strategy and priorities for the business (include budget), follow-up execution.
Proactively investigate and ensure follow-up on EHS metrics and reporting.
Make periodic visits to sites to perform safety audits and review safety issues.
These activities will also apply to non-CBRE managed locations and client project sites
Qualifications include:
Bachelors degree in environmental science, Safety or related.
Knowledge and experience with NEBOSH & NIOSH Standards.
OSHA certified.
Extensive knowledge on APAC HSE international norms and standards.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, global included
Ability to make quick and effective decisions to ensure the safety of all personnel.
HSE professional experience of at least 7 to 10 years as an HSE manager or regional HSE lead.
Knowledge and experience with HSE integrated management systems and software (e.g. Gensuite)
Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio, etc.)
Proficient in English (professional level written and spoken)
Industrial or high-risk operations environment experience is ideal
Preference will be given to candidates with global experience
Multilingualism is strongly preferred.
