Senior Public Relations Manager and Content Lead V (B5)

We are looking for an energetic person with a passion for storytelling to join our Public Relations team.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop external communications content for corporate programs and product launches
* Create unique and compelling story angles that align to strategic themes
* Generate stories and write content for the Applied Blog
* Conduct outreach to key technology and business press, and industry analysts
* Expand Applieds reach by fostering relationships with new reporters and influencers
Functional Knowledge
* At least 7 years prior PR agency, corporate PR/communications and/or journalism experience
* Strong writing skills are a must
* Ability to translate complex technologies into compelling stories for a variety of external audiences
Business Expertise
* Semiconductor or consumer technology industry expertise is a major plus
Leadership
* Provide guidance to team members with less experience; lead projects with minimal oversight
* Give direction to PR agency resources
* Represent the PR team in projects involving other departments, areas of the Company, and/or with the public
Problem Solving
* Strong decision making skills; ability to come up with creative solutions to challenges as they arise
* Creative thinker; takes a new perspective on existing solutions and processes
Impact
* Align PR content to business objectives, with a focus on driving desired outcomes
