Your Contribution
The Product group is responsible for commercializing and representing the investment capabilities of AIG First Principles. The primary purpose of the job will be to research, analyze, and present business, competitor, and market characteristics and trends in order to help AIG First Principles make optimal product decisions.
Major job responsibilities will include:
* Develop depth in business and market intelligence for purposes of trend identification, peer insight, and competitive positioning
* Create presentations and writeups that clearly and concisely articulate new investment strategy and structure proposals, including revenue and expense projections as well as development timelines
* Support product development activities, including identifying optimal vehicle structures and managing new product launches
* Support product management activities, including performance dashboarding and remediating or rationalizing existing products, as appropriate
* Contribute to investment and market readiness activities, including strategy content development as well as quantitative and qualitative strategy reviews
* Support product specialist activities, including fulfilling business development needs, such as consultant/marketing database/DDQ/RFP contribution and pricing recommendation
What we are looking for
* One year or more of relevant work experience; background in consulting or banking would be preferred
* A Bachelors degree (Finance or Economics is ideal)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to translate strategic and financial analysis into presentations
* Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience using Power BI and Tableau a plus
