The Marketing Technology Department has an opening for a Martech Product Manager. This position is located in Pleasanton, California.

Position Purpose

Albertson's Companies is looking for people who are interested in re-imagining the grocery experience by harnessing the power of digital technologies. The Martech Product Manager will work closely with Engineering, Business, UX, Data teams and more to build the product roadmap for Martech solutions.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Help lead the strategy, prioritization, and execution for new and existing marketing channels, tools, and initiatives.
* Create user stories and scenarios, direct and approve UI/UX activities and define acceptance criteria
* Work with engineering teams across multiple disciplines to ship products and features per the roadmap around the marketing efforts and needs (Email, Social, Display, Push, SMS, Campaign Management, CDP, DAM, etc.)
* Define, monitor, and measure product metrics and KPIs, incorporate learnings into product definition and development process
* Enable and escalate needs for new tools that solve problems for internal users, build integrations, systems, APIs marketing tools for grocery delivery, drive-up-and-go and online/ecommerce
* Implement marketing tech stack to drive customer acquisition, activation, and retention.
* Technically inclined and can get into the weeds of engineering problems to understand the pros and cons of different solutions and know when to make a call vs. escalate.
* Translate business requirements into technical requirements
* Bring people together to make it happen. Energy and creativity are key characteristics that describe you and the projects you lead.
* Ability to think from a systems perspective and understand how components within a system interact with each other

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required
* 4 years relevant experience with 2+ years in e-commerce/internet in a business analytics and marketing technology. Experience in mobile app marketing a plus
* You have great attention to detail but base your strategy on the big picture objectives.
* Ability to communicate to business stakeholders like a growth marketing leaders and business stakeholders to promote a shared understanding of strategy, ROI, and opportunities
* You understand how technology can solve customer and business partner problems and can engage in the details with different types of engineering teams to find simpler solutions
* Experience shipping enterprise-scale products
* You have a passion for Martech Solutions-including but not limited to: Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, Appsflyer, Localytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, LiveRamp, Google Cloud Platform
* Strategic thinker with a customer centric focus.
* Strong communicator with influencing and persuasion skills.

In 1939, Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, took $5,000 he saved and $7,500 he borrowed from his wife’s Aunt Bertie, and partnered with L.S. Skaggs to open his first Albertsons store on 16th and State Streets in Boise, Idaho. Joe knew the keys of running a really great store, and it was all about working hard for the customers: give them the products they want, at a fair price, with lots of tender, loving care. Joe was innovative, too. He had one of the first in-store magazine racks in the country along with a scratch bakery and fresh ice cream made in-store.
