CVS/Health Specialty Pharmacy, a mail service pharmacy in the Monroeville area, has an opportunity for a Shipping Technician in our Fulfillment department. The primary responsibilities of a Shipping Technician are to assist the pharmacists in the Quality Control area, accurately and efficiently pack patient orders, and prepare medication orders for shipment with the appropriate carrier.

Responsible for proper packing, sealing and labeling of prescription orders prior to shipping. Follow all special shipping instructions, example, requires refrigeration Scan prescription, paperwork and labels and place medications in tamper proof bag prior to sealing the package. Monitor and maintain proper levels of packing and shipping materials at the work station. Prepare medication order for shipping; process shipping label and affix to the proper package, Perform a quality check to insure the correct medication is being sent to the correct patient, organize packages by correct courier (Fedex, UPS, USPS) for efficient pickup of orders. Restock supplies.

Work hours are Sunday - Thursday 2:30-11pm

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 months of General Work History

Preferred Qualifications
Past experience in pharmacy a plus.
Knowledge of packing and shipping with national carriers.
Experience in a shipping or receiving environment preferred
Experience in a medical or pharmaceutical environment
Ability to operate a pallet jack desired

Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
