We are seeking a Patient Care Technician PRN for our Float Pool to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

The Patient Care Technician PRN is responsible for patient safety, assisting with daily hygiene, ambulation, and delivery of patient care including data collection, documentation, communication and implementation of patient care interventions in accordance with state Nursing Practice Acts and generic/unit structure standards.

* You will greet and interact with all patients, visitors, in a cheerful, courteous, positive manner at all times.

* Assist in the admission of new patients and prepare them for patient care.

* Complete documentation in a timely, proficient and complete manner.

* Ensure the patients hygiene is completed daily ( oral, body, toileting, linen)

* Observe for any changes in the patients condition and report changes or concern to the primary RN or Charge nurse.

* Ask the 3 Ps prior to leaving a patient room.

* Nursing technicians will complete the Sitter education and maintain competency as a sitter.

Frankfort Regional Medical Center (FRMC) is a 173 bed, acute care facility, Level III Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center. We primary serve the areas of Franklin, Anderson, Owen, Woodford, Shelby, and other surrounding counties.
Qualifications

* American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Healthcare Provider upon hire (required)

* Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)

* One (1) year of experience in healthcare setting if not a current Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
