Job Description

Responsible for strengthening the defensive posture and cyber defense operational readiness of an IT Enterprise our Enterprise Cyber Network Defense (ECND) program defends and protects Government assets from external Cyber Security attacks and Insider Threats that can potentially cause or create data, systems, networks, and personnel vulnerabilities.nnFunctional Duties: Cyber Systems Administrator (ISSO)nConduct computing environment technical security assessments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.nProvide system engineering team support for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.nApply system security engineering expertise toward the execution of systems engineering life cycle management, integration, risk management, change management, auditing, certification and accreditation, and security testingnReview certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation completeness and standards compliance using Cyber Risk Management and Compliance Automation (XACTA) and the Risk Management Framework (RFM) to achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO).nInteract with customers and staff to define and achieve required Information Assurance objectives.nCreate functional documentation, standard operating procedures, and granular process checklists.nProvide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff members, and may have supervisory responsibilities.nParticipate in special projects as required.nnPosition Qualifications:nnBA/BS 10+or a combination of: (Education Degree from an Accredited Institute in an Area Applicable to the Position)n High School Diploma + 14 years Associate's Degree + 12 years Bachelor's Degree + 10 years Master's Degree + 8 years PhD + 6 yearsnnAdditional Qualifications:nA TS/SCI clearance with CI poly(or able to obtain CI poly)nSecurity+ or other approved DoD 8570 IAT II certification prior to employment. Other viable certifications that meet this requirement are CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP.nObtain an 8570 IASAE II certification within six months from the date of hire.
