This position is responsible for creating the design vision, strategy, and messaging guidelines and develop the look, feel, and visual experience of the Henry Schein Global E-Commerce Platform (GEP). This role will set a strategic design direction for Henry Scheins GEP and omni-channel experiences globally and guide internal and external teams to execute on this vision. This role will partner with GEP business leaders to drive a consistent, engaging experience across all Henry Schein GEP markets.
The Creative Director is a key member of the GEP leadership team and partners closely with the GEP Product Owner, Program Manager, and Project Manager as well as Digital Marketing, Digital Merchandising, Ecommerce Management, and business stakeholders among others to develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and advance our brand strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Partner with Corporate Communications team and business stakeholders to continually reinforce our brand by creating and driving transformative, integrated digital experiences across the customer journey that will engage our customers and deliver on our brand promise of Rely on Us.
* Develop the strategy and design guidelines for all of the online brands experience globally.
* Maintain unique identities of international brands while preserving the high level digital experience.
* May partner with global and regional creative agencies to develop strategy and creative to drive engagement and conversion.
* Create and implement global brand standards and design elements that can be translated across channel and region to ensure global consistency and regional relevance.
* Work with the cross-functional leads to estimate, create, manage, track, and drive deadlines for new and existing projects
* Designing rich media assets for website pages including graphic design/layout, user interface features, site animation, special effects elements, video/audio, etc. based on business and customer requirements.
* Conceptualizing, creating, and manipulatingindividual design elements (e.g., audio, video, still images, animation, text,digital data, interactivity, etc.) using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
* Constructing the rich media website design usinglayout and wireframing tools (such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Sketch,etc.) to define the way that images, text, and multi-media are displayed.
* Performs design development and maintenance oversight for web pages, applicable web applications, and utilizes platforms such as Content Management Systems and Digital Asset Management systems to drive process efficiencies.
* Partner with GEP Product Owner to review and utilize behavioral data and insights using Google Analytics, data warehouse reports, digital voice of customer data to inform and influence the customer journey and experience, ultimately leading to user/visual experience resulting in increased engagement and conversion.
* Performs web usability testing.
* Requires knowledge of scripting languages (HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, etc.), but work is done primarily through website design authoring/layout and HTML editing software vs. working directly with the underlying code.
Qualification
WORK EXPERIENCE:
* Typically 12 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience
* Demonstrated successful track record of significant digital design leadership and international brand experience in B2B and/or B2C for global Fortune 500 E-Commerce platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into creative concepts.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelors Degree or global equivalent in related discipline such as Design, Marketing, etc. Masters degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications.
