General Purpose of Position
The Information Technology team requires a senior infrastructure engineer with the skills and expertise to successfully accomplish ongoing and future IT infrastructure initiatives. This includes shared ownership of tasks relating to the operation, availability, performance, monitoring, and maintenance of DLT's internal corporate infrastructure. In addition, this position will have shared responsibilities for security and compliance for the company.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Design, implement, and maintain the organization's infrastructure and security program
Provide an architectural framework for information systems development, maintenance, and efficiency efforts
Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements
Understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions
Analyze systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements
Provide tier-2/3 technical support to various departments and users with regards to the infrastructure and security
Serve as a liaison with vendors and third-party providers; Incumbent will report directly to the Vice President of Information Technology
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years relevant technical work experience OR 9 years of relevant technical work experience.
Familiarity, knowledge, and experience in the following:

Virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service
Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Continuity of Operations

Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment
