Seeking a transformative leader with a deep technical background in the Database and Middleware space.

The ideal candidate would be one that has a strong understanding of the database platform (SQL Server, Sybase and DB2) and middleware technologies (WAS, NGINX, API Management, MQ, etc)

Ability to drive transformative change, taking traditional on-premises technology and people and driving a Cloud and automation mindset. As such, a strong background in AWS is mandatory.

Proven ability to lead an organization of 75+ engineers both locally as well as in offshore.

Proven track record of delivering results on large enterprise upgrade and re-platforming efforts, driving change through an Infrastructure organization.

Proven experience in working and uplifting an organization that has large technical debt challenges.

Ability to work in a highly integrated and shared technology ecosystem, along with the ability to work with multiple application stakeholders.

Develop and articulate a clear case for change, with desired outcomes, clear roles and decision-making

Counsels leaders and influences without formal ownership through their advising strategy.

A primary responsibility of this individual will be to lead people through a transformative change.

One in which service to the Application teams and migrating the mindset of traditional infrastructure to modern infrastructure will be a key success factor.

The ability to be relentless to ensure the right initiatives are undertaken and the benefits are realized throughout the enterprise will be the ultimate success factor for this role.

This job is not covered by the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement.
