About this role
The Change Enablement Manager Specialist will be responsible for supporting OT&BI leadership in change enablement, communications, and training program supporting delivery and adoption of strategic programs within the organization following OT&BIs validated change enablement framework. Change Enablement is essential to achieving program results and driving positive operational impact, proactive partner engagement and clear priorities while ensuring a sensitivity to change saturation. The Change Enablement specialist will be responsible to develop materials for all level from Executive leadership to the front line throughout the organization.
Significant change requires a pragmatic approach with strong employee / leadership engagement.
Your role will consist of
This role is responsible for developing change enablement, communications, and training program supporting delivery and adoption of strategic programs within the organization utilizing OT&BIs confirmed change enablement framework.
The role will develop and coordination communication activities and messaging relating to various OT&BI Strategic Programs assigned to them (editorial calendar, yammer posts, prospector usage, mailbox and email templates, etc.).
The role is required to engage efficient with a wide range of partners within Newmont most frequently with Business Improvement, Operational Technology and Innovation Program team members, subject matter authorities and other business partners.
Support change readiness planning of site and regional Strategic program implementation, monitoring and reporting on the program adoption (governance structure, stakeholder mapping, adoption and training plans, surveys, etc.).
Build and maintain knowledge sharing platforms and execute activities to champion teamwork across regions, sites, and functions.
Work closely with operations, regional, and global teams to strengthen interpersonal capabilities and proficiencies related to the OT&BI Strategic Programs that the role supports.
Identify the need and run contractor support for translations, interpretations, visuals, writing/editing, video editing, etc. (incl. of onboarding, POs, Invoices, results) specifically to the OT&BI Strategic Programs that the role supports

Support Strategic Program Leadership in development of governance model, stakeholder mapping, implementation readiness planning, Communities of Practices, training, and appropriate risk identification 65%
Identify and ensure adequate resourcing to support Strategic Program Change Enablement efforts for translations, visuals, writing/editing, video editing, etc. and handle contractor results 15%
Ensure communication plan for Strategic Programs align with and meets the needs of OT&BI overall, and support development of relevant messaging relating to the Strategic Program Communities of Practice, Prospector and Yammer groups. 10%
Support Change Enablement manager in overall OT&BI portfolio change and communication planning and development (i.e. partner assessment, prospector management, editorial calendar, visual identity, etc.). 10%

Your training, skills & experience checklist
Knowledge:
Bachelors Degree in Communications or related field
Knowledge of Newmont business practices, communication guidelines, mining operations, business administration practices, and certification for an organizational change methodology is required
Presentation skills to articulate importance of activity and spend to all levels of understanding
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio
Basic SAP system knowledge
Experience:
At least 7 years validated experience in communications, change management, and training
Familiarity and experience with change management programs and basic project management experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Proven strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical specialists, practitioners and vendors across the globe
Adept at the use of impact and influence skills to achieve business results
An ability to diagnose and foresee problems and opportunities based on limited information and time, advance the with a track record of sound professional judgement.
Proven critical thinking skills
Ability to take technical information and develop material for all levels of the company, with the support of the Project Manager Ability to bring to bear change management, communication, and training resources to support objectives
The capacity to develop and maintain effective relationships at various levels within the global business
The validated ability to lead third party vendors, service providers, and consultants optimal
The ability to work flexibly to meet the frequent out of normal office hours requirements as part of a global organization.
