What We're Looking For
Provides senior-level technical expertise to assigned large and complex bridge projects in the Bay Area. Provides independent technical review of selected projects. Provides significant breadth and depth of technical experience in a specific area. Provides technical interface with clients. Provides technical mentorship to staff.
Primary Focus Will Include:
This part-time position provides high-senior level technical expertise for complex structural bridge design through PA/ED, PS&E and/or Construction phases
Provides technical assistance, leadership, mentoring, and support for management and staff
Interface with clients on providing expertise and guidance for technical issues
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Engineering
PE in California
16+ years in relevant experience
Strong verbal and oral communication through presentations and written articles or reports.
What You'll Need
Essential Responsibilities:
Provides technical guidance as requested on complex or unusual engineering projects. Provides direction to resolve technical issues.
Represents the firm at technical conferences and on technical committees.
Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
Regularly meets and corresponds with clients or outside personnel on technical issues.
Provides technical assistance, leadership, mentoring, and support to senior-level management and staff. Provides independent technical review, makes recommendations as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
