Scope/Purpose of Position:
* Seeking an IT technical support professional with advanced skills to support executive level and administrative staff within the defined scope of global executive services. Perform complex problem analysis, resolution and installation of authorized hardware and software. Participate as a member of a support team in the deployment, support and maintenance of IT resources, services, and systems.
Responsibilities:
* Respond to, or create as needed, Incidents, Tasks or forms for all work performed or needed.
* Resolve or assist with resolving, user issues or requests for hardware, software and/or services for approved desktop computing equipment, mobile devices and services, including installations and upgrades.
* Deploy and maintain mobile equipment such as smartphones and tablets
* Participate in on-call rotation supporting all executives, may be 24X7 at times
* Identify recurring issues, document as Problems and escalate to appropriate personnel
* Keep management informed of potential issues including those with customers
* Represent technical bridge between technology groups and business units
* Make recommendations for and implement improvement in processes and procedures
* Follow existing processes and use standard methodologies to carry out assigned tasks
* May be required to maintain inventory supplies and attend configuration advisory board meetings
* Understand and follow Corning processes Incident Management Request Fulfillment Problem Management
* Performs other related duties as assigned by management
* Understand and apply the Priority Matrix. Strive to meet metric goals and avoid breaches
Travel Requirements:
* Minimal - International travel is possible due to being part of a global team
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
* 40 hours/week with the exception of on-call weeks
Education Requirements:
* Associate's Degree (minimum) or equivalent work experience and knowledge
Work Experience:
* Three plus years of experience in infrastructure and/or desktop support arena
Requirements:
* Advanced technical troubleshooting

* Strong remote support skills and familiarity with remote support tools
* Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to explain IT matters in lay terms o Advance knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), BOX, WebEx and Windows and other Corning standard software and services
* Advanced knowledge of mobile devices, specifically Apple and Android setup and configuration including MobileIron, WebEx, SAP JAM
* Knowledge of Apple iOS and support a plus
