Full Time (32 hours a week) Clinical Dietitian Opportunity at the Rehabilitation Hospital!

Under the supervision of the Medical Director, develops and implements nutrition care for patients in coordination with other members of the health care team. Provides clinical leadership to dietary staff.

The 36-bed Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Wayne is the region's only free-standing facility dedicated solely to rehabilitation. Accredited by The Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, the hospital has helped thousands of patients regain independence despite serious illness or injury since 1993.

Comprehensive services include integrated inpatient rehabilitation; neuropsychological services; occupational, physical and speech therapy; and stroke rehabilitation, to name a few.

The Rehabilitation Hospital, a Lutheran Health Network member, cares for patients 14 and older who have a variety of diagnoses and conditions. Each member of the treatment team has spent years studying and working to help each patient become as independent as possible.

An ideal candidate will require the following:

* Degree from an accredited education program in Dietetics
* Registered dietitian or registry eligible; must become registered within one year from hire date in position.

* State certification required within six months from registration or hire date in position.
