Purpose and Objective:
Ariba, Inc seeks a Technology Senior Consultant at our Alpharetta, GA (and various client sites nationwide) location to support transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise.

Expectations and Tasks:
Architect, blueprint, design, and realize technical landscape and configuration for cloud-based solutions and lead customers technical teams to achieve their goals during implementation. Design solution to facilitate cloud integration and perform detailed planning of technical process implementation. Work with SAP procurement solutions like SAP Ariba, SAP SRM, SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, and non-SAP technologies (e.g. databases, software stacks and infrastructure components). Plan and estimate cloud development activities based on the customizations determined from functional specifications. Determine TO-BE processes with best fit alternatives and vet these with customer business unit representatives across the globe to secure their alignment. Identify technical process gaps and provide alternatives to design teams. Develop SAP Reports, ABAP Objects, ABAP programs, forms, ALE, EDI interfaces. Perform migration of data from SAP CLM. Support setup and connectivity of integrated system landscapes (On Premise, Cloud and Hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies. Support or maintain project plan for technical work stream. Manage technical performance expectations and serve as a technical advisor to customers throughout engagements. Assess technical issues and develop system solutions for the deployment. Provide support for escalated projects and system optimization, perform issue and status tracking, as well as provide weekly updates and escalate critical issues to Team and Project. Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and support respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.

Work Experience:
Experience must involve 4 years in the following: architect, blueprint, design, and realize technical landscape and configurations and lead customers technical teams to achieve goals during implementation; SAP procurement solutions like SAP Ariba, SAP SRM, SAP ECC and non-SAP technologies; evaluate and design Ariba supplier data model for integration of SAP Ariba supplier lifecycle and performance with customer ERP; migration of contracts from SAP CLM; develop SAP Reports, ABAP Objects, ABAP programs, forms, ALE, EDI interfaces; design solution to facilitate cloud integration and perform detailed planning of technical process implementation; identify technical process gaps and provide alternatives to design teams; SAP ERP; produce technical specification document for technical and integration team after analyzing functional and business requirement documents; plan and estimate technical workstream activities based on the customizations determined from functional specifications; determine TO-BE processes with best fit alternatives and vet these with customer business unit representatives across the globe to secure alignment; assess technical issues and develop system solutions for deployment; provide support for escalated projects and system optimization, perform issue and status tracking, provide weekly updates and escalate critical issues to Team and Project. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
