Position responsible for direction of cardiopulmonary services under guidance of Medical Director. Responsible for all operational functions of department. Creates/revises policy and procedures to meet current standards of respiratory practices, manages staff to include providing education; assessment; guidance.
Minimum Education: High School Graduate or G.E.D. & Technical Training, completion of formal program with Registered Respiratory Therapy certification.
Required License/certification: Current State Respiratory Therapist licensure as a: Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist; Graduate of AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy; BLS/ACLS/PALS certification required
Required SKILL SET: Knowledge of all aspects of Respiratory Therapy Services; Intermediate computer skills; Proven leadership skills; Ability to adapt to change; Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to exercise independent judgment in the completion of assignments and duties; Ability to speak and write English language fluently.
PREFERRED REQUIRMENTS: 5 - 10 years of experience; Associate Degree and/or Bachelor degree. NRP Certification
