RN - Float Pool

Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Department Clinical Coordinator, a Float Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Staff nurses render care to patients within all units; administers medication and note reactions, assists in maintaining highly specialized therapy with complicated equipment, assesses the patient's condition, medication and treatment. Performs routine and technical care to acutely ill patients. Revises the plan of care to meet changing needs of the patient. Must be willing to float to multiple departments as needed, including Telemetry, Surgical/Peds, and Medical. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Must have current Registered Nurse Licensure valid in the state of Utah.
* 2+ years RN experience required.
* Must be willing to Float to different departments as needed.
* Current BLS (CPR) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider
* Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
