How will you make an impact?
Responsible for the cleaning and maintaining the 5S system in the manufacturing area, e.g. assembly, packaging airlocks and gowning rooms, including but not limited to trash removal and cleaning outside of the clean room. This position may require weekend schedules. All technicians carry out the production / cleaning process by closely following the standard operating procedures and Standard Work as they relate to cleaning chemicals and all cleaning equipment and PPE.

* Knowledge of all cleaning chemicals, and SDS
* Ability to train others in the cleaning processes
* Assist in training functions and Mentoring
* Assist in Safety investigations
* Perform monthly Safety Walk
* Complete OSHA 10-hour training course
* Ability to Certify in CPR, EAP and First Aid

Key Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to the following)

* Problem solve using the problem-solving tools e.g. 5-Why, 8D Investigations etc.
* Understands correct processes and procedures for mixing chemicals, cleaning and 5S
* Assist in training and mentoring cleaning team
* Following all safety requirements and cGMP requirements as required by area
* Following work instruction document, standard operating procedures and standard works
* Record correct and accurate documentation in all Form Control Documents
* Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities
