Infrastructure Data Scientist, Senior

The Challenge:

As a data scientist, you can help analyze and enable the efficient management of analytic workflows across HPC clusters. This role is more than just coding. We need a data scientist who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using a sound analytic process, you'll work with operations engineers and performance engineers to discover, explore and prepare your data, prepare and train your models and evaluate your results. You'll provide training, consulting support, or implementation guidance to other developers and operations engineers. As a technical leader, youll identify new opportunities to use data science solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:

-5+ years of experience with software engineering

-Experience with container technologies, including Docker or Rocket

-Experience with DevOps techniques and tools, including continuous integration and development

-Knowledge of various Python Machine Learning libraries, including scikit-learn

-Ability to demonstrate software development with Python in a UNIX environment

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree or 7+ years of experience in software engineering roles in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with using the Atlassian Tool Suite

-Experience with Agile Scrum

-Experience with C++

-Knowledge of container orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes or Mesos

-Knowledge of HPC General Concepts

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
