Overview:

The Manager of Global Finance Systems will streamline and enhance the effectiveness of the finance and financial reporting functions on a global scale through automation and system implementation. The Manager of Global Finance Systems is a technology minded project leader with strong project and process management skills with the ability to navigate the organization across finance and all business and corporate functions. It will be critical to foster and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment, delivering software solutions that meet or exceed customer and stakeholder expectations, often helping shape business requirements in a manner that optimally leverages technology. This Manager will be responsible for the development of specifications for system enhancements; for analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of and proposed systems and databases; resolving various user and programmer problems; providing project requirement documentation; initiating system changes and upgrades; and providing training.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

* Providing project leadership and subject matter expertise to global finance systems projects across many functional teams including 3rd party vendors - including but not limited to financial reporting, accounting, global tax, treasury, credit and FP&A, as well as master data utilization (30%)

* Researching Finance best practices, compliance standards, and industry innovations and apply those across the business and technology landscape (5%)

* Overseeing preparations of business case and scoping documents as they arise for the Finance portfolio of applications (5%)

* Develops concept and design in an area/component used by multiple units in the organization for Strategic Projects and New Developments (10%)

* Defines the roadmap, standards, and the architecture for that solution with appropriate technology and finance partners (5%)

* Oversees from concept to realization of a new development including documentation (15%)

* Ensuring change management, communications and training is performed for all significant system change (10%)

* Keeping executive management informed of progress and obstacles impeding the successful implementation of projects and other departmental activities through status reports, presentations, etc. (5%)

* In coordination with key finance and IT stakeholders, recommending post-implementation operational ownership or organizational change needs for ongoing technical maintenance and functional ownership (5%)

* Coordinating with functional and technical staff and lead system-related projects and initiatives such as, new system functionality and/or new technologies (5%)

* Anticipate and manage the risks associated with finance systems and processes (5%)

Qualifications:

Experience:

* 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.

* 1 to 3 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees.

Education & Certifications:

* Bachelor's Degree with Finance, Accounting field of study required.

* Other Education / Certifications: Global work experience, especially in finance and accounting desired. SAP, TM1 and data visualization experience desired

Working Conditions:

* Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

* Professional, office environment.

* Some travel required.
