Qualcomms Graphics PSE team is a part of the Graphics System team and is responsible for the overall quality of the Graphics IP in silicon. As a member of our Graphics PSE team, you will be working closely with architects, designers, verification and software engineers to take the GPU tape out to SOD(silicon-On-Dock), silicon bring-up and to CS(Customer Samples). In this position, you will be responsible for improving our pre-si verification and post-silicon validation coverage, providing debug support and driving end to end solutions for silicon bring-up issues as well as customer returns, and test methodologies as well as creating GPU bring-up test-plans that validate both electrical and functional features within the GPU. We are looking for highly motivated engineers that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance. Candidates must have strong communication and teamwork skills and approach difficult challenges as learning opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

* GPU and SoC architectures

* GPU APIs (Vulkan/Direct3D/OpenGL/OpenCL,etc.)

* Post-silicon enablement and bring-up

* Strong programming in C/C++

* Emulation environments for development and debug

* Debugging low level software, logic and electrical issues

* Familiarity with leading edge technology node development and challenges

* Debug tools including JTAG and kernel debuggers

* Understanding of power, performance and thermal

* Basic familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilog

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

* 5+ years mobile phone or similar product experience in the areas of power systems, power grid analysis and design, hardware or PMIC transistor level design or design/development of design tools and test automation tools for these products.

* 5+ years Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

* 5+ years of academic or professional experience using one or more of the following: IC design tools, PCB design tools, SPICE, MATLAB, Verilog/VHDL, C, Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering

* Validation and debug of mixed-signal IP

* Experience with at least one of: Perl, Python, TCL

* Familiarity with ARM Coresight IP is desirable

* Familiarity with DFT/DFD

* Comfortable using an Oscilloscope, logic-analyzer and related lab equipment for measurements and debugging
