The global team also plays a critical role as the primary collaboration point for Product & Technology with Disney’s EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regional business teams.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager to collaborate with multiple business end-users, third-party vendor, software engineering team members, and other Product professionals. The Product Manager will spend their time on the custom development for features SaaS application with the Disney Music Group (DMG) technological eco-system. This role will work to refine designs, properly scope, and document epic/feature/user stories in an Agile working environment, as well as work with our SaaS vendors to present findings, and work with team members and stakeholders towards solutions.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a Product Manager for the Repertoire Management product team delivering products that solve problems through web interfaces to deliver a new, innovative integrated service to our business users.
Facilitate requirement sessions with stakeholders, properly prioritize features and creates comprehensive requirements for delivery team.
Drive consensus among stakeholders with conflicting needs.
Document epics, features, and user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
Use Agile best practices, as well as pragmatic ingenuity, to build requirements and stories with the primary goal of consistent incremental delivery of MVP and multi-phased product solutions.
Work with multiple stakeholders – engineers, other product owners to create, iterate, maintain and communicate product roadmaps.
Collaborate and coordinate across the music portfolio of products to drive and solve any dependencies (inter or intra)
Lead user-acceptance testing for the Product Team and guide select business users during their turn of user-acceptance testing.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
5+ years of experience
Effective Communication - including extensive experience w/ application end users
Ability to solve problems - identifying multiple relevant scenarios
Critical thinking & analytical thinking
Process modeling knowledge (+ documentation)

Preferred Qualifications

Over 5 years of experience in Product Management
Knowledge of phases of product development – concept, design, development, QA and UAT
Must be an expert in use case analysis, workflows and process mapping
Excellent communication skills and great listener
Solid technical background in modern database and system architecture
Working understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies
Entertainment domain and enterprise architecture experience are a plus
Strong documentation skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PPT, Visio, Google Suite, LucidChart, etc.)
SQL skills is a plus
Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields
Experience working with various SMEs across various workflows
Experience working with SaaS vendors
Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar work management tool is a plus
Experience in Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plus
