Job Description
What You Can Expect
As the Site Administration Intern, you will support all aspect of daily operations and logistics. You will also have routine contact with the University of Iowa team, Campus services and various vendors. Additionally, you will process correspondences, purchase orders, invoices, power plant fuels information, and assist with required reporting.
Internship Objectives:
Reviewing and processing financial processes including purchase orders and invoices
Identifying of potential delays or breaks in the workflow and process improvement
Assist with preparation and review of fuel related reports for solid fuel and natural gas purchases
What You’ll Bring
You must be an enrolled student at the University of Iowa
A minimum pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field and a GPA of 3.0 or greater
A proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Students can work up to 20 hours per week while enrolled in an active semester and up to 40 hours per week during breaks (spring, summer, and/or winter)
Ability to work during the hours between 7:00am – 3:30pm
