Job Description

Texas Instruments is looking for a detailed?and?results?oriented senior leader to join our global Information?Technology organization as the Global Infrastructure & Operations Leader . In this role you will enable flawless execution of high?visibility IT and business initiatives, shape the technical and strategic roadmap for our worldwide infrastructure and operational ecosystems, and build the high?performance team that will deliver them.

The ideal candidate will:

Own the end?to?end strategy, budget, and execution of TI’s global IT infrastructure, data platforms, and associated services.

Translate TI’s investment strategy, cost structure, and business goals into differentiated, innovative technology solutions.

Drive consistent, on?time delivery while remaining agile to market shifts and emerging technologies.

Build an inclusive, high?performance culture that attracts, develops, and retains top technical talent across geographies.

Responsibilities include:

Business Understanding

Translate corporate strategy into an accountable, financially?sound IT?infrastructure program and keep the organization aligned.

Strategic Alignment – Craft and execute an end?to?end infrastructure strategy that directly supports the company’s business objectives, growth plans, and investment priorities.

Financial Stewardship – Own the budgeting process for the infrastructure function; track spend vs. performance, report on asset utilization, service levels, and key financial metrics.

Road?map Agility – Anticipate market shifts and changing business priorities; continuously adjust the infrastructure roadmap to stay relevant and cost?effective.

Capacity & Expansion Planning – Design expansion plans for data?centers, networks, and cloud estates that meet forecasted demand while optimizing ROI.

Stakeholder Partnership – Build and maintain strong, cross?functional relationships (global and regional) to ensure shared accountability and transparent communication.

Compliance & Risk – Ensure all infrastructure activities comply with security standards, data?privacy regulations, and other business?critical policies.

Product Development & Execution

Deliver innovative, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions on time, on budget, and at the right quality.

Solution Strategy – Define product/solution road?maps that emphasize innovation, efficiency, and cost?effectiveness across the infrastructure portfolio.

Project Delivery – Lead large?scale, multi?regional projects from concept through launch, coordinating cross?functional teams to meet milestones, budget, and quality targets.

Design & Implementation – Oversee the architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of hardware, software, networks, servers, data?centers, and data platforms.

Operational Excellence – Manage day?to?day operations to guarantee reliability, security, and availability; drive rapid incident resolution and continuous service improvement.

Governance & Standards – Develop and enforce enterprise?wide architecture, data?governance, and infrastructure standards; champion best?practice adoption.

Emerging?Tech Integration – Continuously evaluate new technologies and introduce tools/processes that boost performance, lower costs, and accelerate time?to?market.

Talent Management

Attract, develop, and retain high?performing, inclusive infrastructure teams worldwide.

Leadership & Team Building – Lead a global, multi?disciplinary team of infrastructure leads, engineers, technicians, and support staff; embed a culture of high performance and inclusion.

Skill Development – Design and execute training, certification, and mentorship programs that raise technical acumen and align skill growth with business needs.

Workforce Planning – Forecast current and future talent needs; drive hiring, staffing, succession, and retention strategies to ensure the right capabilities are in place.

Performance & Engagement – Set clear technical direction, track talent metrics (turnover, engagement, skill progression), and adjust programs to sustain motivation and productivity.

Inclusive Culture – Foster an environment where diverse perspectives are valued, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Technical Leadership

Shape the technical vision, champion security/compliance, and drive innovation across the infrastructure ecosystem.

Vision & Road?map – Own the technical direction for infrastructure and operations, translating corporate strategy into a coherent, future?focused roadmap.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Identify improvement opportunities, pilot new architectures, and institutionalize best?in?class tools and processes that enhance performance and reduce cost.

Security & Compliance – Develop, enforce, and evolve security policies, controls, and incident?response procedures; monitor threats, ensure compliance with standards, and protect all infrastructure assets.

Vendor & Supplier Management – Cultivate engineering?level relationships with key suppliers, influence their road?maps, and negotiate contracts that deliver strategic value.

Executive Advocacy – Serve as the primary technical spokesperson to senior leadership, business partners, and external stakeholders; communicate strategy, risks, results, and value of infrastructure initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (master’s preferred)

10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies in IT infrastructure and operations

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Strong financial acumen and experience managing large, complex budgets

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations

Knowledge of relevant security standards and regulations, including data privacy laws

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex problem situations

Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

Ability to build strong, influential relationships

Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

Proven experience influencing opinions and gaining consensus

Excellent presentation skills

Possess high energy, a helpful attitude, be self-motivated, and be able to consistently contribute towards a positive work and team environment

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CDMP) are a plus
