Job Description

Program Structure:

Participants will apply classroom lessons in a real-world setting. Summer interns will learn about Linde Inc.'s Linde Gases US business, products, processes, and functions. The participant will be given a work assignment in our operations group. Interns will also be partnered with a mentor. The scope of the internship program will allow participants to provide value to the organization by completing a well-defined, key project by the end of their internship.

Summer Internship Project Overview:

As an intern, you'll engage in critical initiatives that enhance safety and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include updating corrosion control documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance, as well as transitioning Bulk & Onsite facilities from spreadsheets to the Inspection Data Management System (IDMS). This transition will require you to understand various inspection requirements, conduct quality control on data transfers, and identify anomalies. Additionally, you’ll perform pressure vessel calculations to assess remaining life or rerate capabilities, gaining valuable insights into asset integrity and engineering fundamentals. This is a great opportunity to develop technical expertise while contributing to impactful improvements.

The position will be based The Woodlands, TX.

Qualifications:

To be considered for an internship with Linde Inc. you must meet the following:

Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Must be actively working towards a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Prefer a rising Junior or Senior.
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Ability to demonstrate past leadership in school, internship, or sporting activities.
Hands-on experience through at least one, relevant, off-campus internship or co-op is preferred.
