PeaceHealth is a well-established financially stable multi-specialty provider group looking for a Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist interested in an opportunity and to BE A PART OF THE EXCITING FUTURE OF PEACEHEALTH.

Physician will be responsible for care of children admitted to PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon. We have a dedicated 16 bed pediatric unit in a beautiful, modern facility completed in 2008. There is a busy normal newborn service with about 2,500 deliveries a year. We have a Level 3 NICU with 24 hour coverage by Neonatologists. Attendance at high risk deliveries is provided by a resuscitation team and Neonatologist. Pediatrician does cover some admits to NICU for intensive observation or level 2 acuity neonates. 

Complex patients are transferred to PICU in Portland if needed. Telemedicine consultation is available 24 hours with PICU. Credentialing for moderate sedation is required. Attendance at weekly hospital case conference is expected. Weekend coverage averages 1-2 weekends/month. Night call is required.
